A Suitable in Home in Just Three Days !

Searching for real estate in St. John’s.

I arrived in Newfoundland from Vancouver in June 2007 to search for a place to live, since I had obtained a position with a local company.
I had contacted Derek previously by e-mail from Vancouver – I had only three days to find a house.
Derek had arranged to visit the houses I had selected and picked out a few more besides.
We visited maybe 8 or 9 properties and I was able to select one which I liked – I put in an offer on the third day of my visit, just before returning to Vancouver. Derek handled all of the arrangements with the vendor quickly and efficiently – despite the fact that the vendor was located overseas. We were able to close the sale quickly and I moved in to my new house a couple of weeks later, after having the house painted, which meant I only had to stay in temporary accommodations for a few days.
It was an enjoyable introduction to Newfoundland and Derek went out of his way to make me feel welcome and assist in the purchase of my new home.
Derek provided a friendly and professional service and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is searching for a house in St. John’s.

First Time Buying Experience

My husband and I were first time home buyers and we really knew nothing about buying a home, we started looking on our own at first and found it to be overwhelming and stressful. We recently moved here from another province and were more than pleased with Derek's service in helping us purchase a house. In Real Estate transactions, there are quite a few things done differently between our home province and here.
